SOOOOOOO underrated, this channel is a godsend for gamma players

After playing the original trio and anomaly, I'm doing my first GAMMA playthrough - these videos really help with my FOMO when picking a primary to repair. Just got an RPK-16 off a military lieutenant in the Dark Valley and I was skeptical but holy smokes - replaced my SMG and my Forester so I could bring the Saiga back out (I know, why did I ever put it away? - cause of the Infinity .45, that's why! Those fiber optic sights, mmm...) Such an awesome mod pack - thanks for all your work on these videos!

Is there a way to get the Pistols back from the Pretty Pistol Pack? For example the Variants of the Desert Eagle: Black, Silver and Gold? I tried to reinstall the Pretty Pistol Pack via MO2 but it doesn’t change… Can somebody help? :(

5 hours into the game i go to clear sky, took an amry outpost liberation mission and looted here rpk-16, m4 tactical and ak-74m Boroda and a lot of As Vals. Is this a win?

The only reason I like Dark Valley is the Military base has quite an easy way to farm them. Just have to skirt around behind it, climb the wall and you should see a pipe with a window above it. Climb the pipe, head in through the window, out the door and take a right out onto the balcony with a rail separating it from the warehouse. Hop the rail onto the warehouse roof and crouch on the other side of the peak and take headshots at any Military. They’ll make their way upstairs and you can just use the fatal funnel of the doorway to stun then take them down. I usually farm it for gear every few days. Sometimes when you head in from Meadow, Mercs will be down with the Ecologist and Renegades at the farm and you can just let them battle it out and clean up the stragglers. Other than those two very specific things, I agree. It’s pretty bad

I decided to start a SiN run out of curiosity. It literally started bad. I spawned in the Outskirts building and was getting my gear on and started hearing shooting. I honestly think my game was glitched. After the shooting slowed down, I ran downstairs to a pile of bodies and a Clear Sky and Bandit fighting the Monolith and SiN guys. I killed the bandit and the last Monolith alive downstairs killed the Clear Sky guy. I didn’t think either was capable of mowing down a little over half a dozen Mono and SiN guys. It did get me good starting gear though once I started getting tools. Grenade launcher, a few good weapons, some decent medium armor at 38%. I didn’t think Clear Sky or Bandits were very typical in Outskirts, much less strong enough to almost make it to the base up in the building by killing most of the guards below. I don’t know enough about SiN starts to know if it was a glitch or not.

The snow mod makes no sense, since all the trees still have leafs. It just looks fake.

Any tips on where to hunt for cooking? I've been trying garbage/cordon.

Merc SEVA body armor is my midgame classic. BR of 48 allows to skip radsuits and wait till Noso/ACE, decent upgraded weight/carry ratio (18/33), and can top off 4 belt slots. Basically an ACE without anomaly protection, 1 less container slot and worse carry/weight ratio, but only needs medium armor kit.

I am shocked that you didnt include the Hybrid Armored Suite in this. It is a heavy suit but can be upgraded to 5 Belt slots and has 48BR with 34 Ballistic Dmg Reduction. You get them quite regullarly from stashes and it is my go to suite when i dont have an merc ace suite

the toz 106 is my go to gun for starting in gamma. Any shotgun is still better than no shotgun, but other than that this thing will be thrown out as soon as i have anything else. Usually a Saiga from mercs in wild territorry/army warehouse

Also, the MP7 can be chambered in 9x18 and fits into your pistol slot which makes it a really good mutant killing gun and probably my favourite in the game 🤷‍♂️

Very solid list in my opinion. Gauss rifle belongs where it does as if you find one you will most likely not even use it because of the ammo.

I want to like the 1911 in gamma, I really do. But it feels so inaccurate beyond 5 meters, and like you mentioned, low magazine capacity

Just started playing and I'm moving my portable workshop stash to garbage. For starting out I think it's a perfect place to set up since it's kinda in the middle and you can go to all the beginning spots with no problem from there.

To this day, I still can't comprehend why fractures get 500% movespeed when injured...

so for all of the shaders you list as being on the discord where are they? I have been looking for the reality shader but cant find it anywhere and a bunch of people seem to have asked about it and are ignored.

SIG's just degrading over upgrades XD

Shotgun > Pistols against mutants, always. In the early game that is. Cheap and strong. Pistol is a side arm for when you have to reload your big boy guns. I guess it doesn't matter if you play on lower progression settings and you're swimming in ammo and money though.
